What truly excites us is that the influence of "Alien" extends far beyond the confines of its original release in theaters four decades ago. The film's otherworldly aesthetics, combined with its deep, atmospheric tension, has become a wellspring of creativity for digital artists around the globe. From the eerie, desolate corridors of the Nostromo to the haunting presence of the Xenomorph, "Alien" offers a universe of visual inspiration.

Alien Day Celebrations

This is an annual event celebrated by fans of the iconic Alien franchise all over the world. It’s a day dedicated to all things related to the series, from the original 1979 film to the sequels, spin-offs, books, and games that followed.

The date for Alien Day, April 26th, was specifically chosen as a nod to the fictional setting of the first film. In the film, the crew of the spaceship Nostromo encounters the first Xenomorph on the moon LV-426. Hence, the date 4/26 (April 26th) was selected to align with the moon’s designation, creating a thematic and memorable connection to the franchise.

In the spirit of celebrating the monumental 45th anniversary of Alien, we’re excited to intertwine this milestone on April 26th. This year, we enjoyed participating to the celebrations by curating an exceptional collection of artworks. This initiative is our way of merging the enthusiasm for the day while honoring the 45th anniversary!
