This week’s featured artist is Steve Simpson from Manchester, Uk but actually based in Ireland. He’s a freelance award winning illustrator & designer with a incredible talent. According to his own words, Steve takes a traditional approach to his projects, combining and balancing the disciplines of design for print. Spending a great deal of time on construction, shape and problem solving at the pencil stage, he continuously re-draws until a balance of aesthetics, key brief considerations and client satisfaction has been realised. He considers vintage illustration and packaging to be a huge influence on his work. Take a look at his entire portfolio at stevesimpson.com and enjoy!
