Overview

Here you’ll find everything you need to know about the Global Agency License, including FAQs, usage guidelines, and the full license agreement.

Global Agency License Summary

The Global Agency License is designed for agencies, studios, corporates, and large in-house teams that need shared access to fonts across multiple projects and clients. It allows multiple team members to install and use the font within a single organization, including collaboration with internal departments and approved suppliers.
This license covers commercial work, web, apps, software, and broadcast productions, without purchasing separate licenses for each project.
It’s the ideal solution for teams that work at scale and need a centralized, flexible license that supports ongoing creative production while keeping font usage clear, compliant, and easy to manage.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many users are allowed to use this license?

Unlimited users within one organization. You can use the font across your team, including employees and internal team members.

We work with freelancers and external suppliers. Are they covered?

Yes. Freelancers and suppliers (for example: external designers, developers, motion studios, printers, and production partners) may use the font only while working on your projects and only under your direction. Access must stay limited to that work, and the font files can’t be transferred as a permanent right to use. This does not include end users or customers using the font inside a product, tool, or platform.

We’re a production company. Does this license cover broadcast use (film, TV, streaming)?

Yes. Broadcast use is fully included. You can use the font across films, TV shows, series, documentaries, and streaming productions—covering titles, credits, on-screen graphics, and related audiovisual use—even across multiple titles, under one Global Agency License. The only exception is trademark registration: registering a logo is included only for your own company brand. If a specific production title or logo needs trademark protection, a separate Logo License is required for that title.

Can we include the font in templates, design tools, print-on-demand platforms or inside a Canva-style editor?

No. These types of platforms are built to let many different end users create their own designs using the font. This means the font becomes part of a shared system and is effectively made available beyond your organization or projects. Because this goes beyond standard production use, it isn’t covered by the Global Agency License.
Using the font in design tools, template editors, print-on-demand services, or similar platforms requires a Custom License, so we can properly evaluate the setup and usage.

Can we use the font for multiple clients and projects?

Yes. The Global Agency License allows unlimited projects and unlimited client work, as long as everything is produced and managed by your organization.

We’re a software house. Can we use this license for multiple client products?

Yes. You can use the font across unlimited client projects, including apps/games/software built for clients, as long as usage stays within your organization and the font isn’t made available for end-user selection or reuse.

Can we use the font on websites and web projects?

Yes. The Global Agency License includes website use, including live text on websites and web-based projects, without the need to purchase a separate Webfont License. This applies to websites owned or managed by your organization or created for your clients. The only exception is when the font is made available to end users inside tools, editors, or platforms where users can actively select and use it to create their own content—in those cases, a Custom License is required.

Can our clients keep the font files after project delivery?

No. Clients can receive finished deliverables, but font files must stay with your organization and cannot be transferred.

  • Claim ownership or authorship of the Font or typeface design.
  • Use the Font in unlawful, misleading, defamatory, infringing, or harmful content.

Upon termination, You must cease all use of the Font and delete all copies in Your possession or control.

The Font is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Indieground shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Font.

Indieground’s total liability under this Agreement shall not exceed the amount paid for this license.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy.

12. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between You and Indieground regarding the Global Agency License and supersedes all prior communications or agreements.

If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
