Here you’ll find everything you need to know about the Logo License, including FAQs, usage guidelines, and the full license agreement.
The Logo License is for creating a logo with the font and registering it as a trademark for one single brand or company. It allows multiple designers or collaborators to work together on the same logo project. You may convert the text to outlines and make graphic adjustments as part of the final logo design.
This license is intended for long-term use of the finalized logo across all brand touchpoints, including products, packaging, marketing, and digital channels.
It does not allow using the font outside of the logo or for creating logos for other brands. For unregistered logos or general branding work, a Commercial / Desktop License is sufficient.
It covers using the font to design one logo for one single brand or company, including trademark registration and long-term use of the finalized logo as a brand identity.
Yes. The Logo License is specifically designed to allow trademark registration.
If the logo is not intended to be registered and you’re doing general branding work, a Commercial / Desktop License is sufficient.
Yes. Multiple designers or collaborators may work on the same logo project, as long as it’s for the same licensed brand.
It depends on how the logo will be used.
Example 1: For a franchise like Stranger Things, the logo appears in the show (Broadcast), and if it’s trademarked you’ll also need the Logo License. Marketing materials outside the video are covered by Commercial.
Example 2: For a film or series where the logo is used only on-screen (and not trademarked), only the Broadcast License is needed.

No. Each Logo License is valid for one single brand or company only.
Minor updates or refinements to the same logo are allowed, as long as they relate to the same brand. Creating a new logo for another brand requires a new Logo License.

Logos, title treatments, or logo-style graphics used exclusively within audiovisual content (such as films, TV series, trailers, title cards, or end credits) are not covered by this license and require a Broadcast License.
