The Personal / Demo License is made for trying the font before buying. It’s ideal for learning, testing, and exploring ideas in real design software, using a limited character set.
One individual may install and use the font for personal, non-commercial work only—such as practice projects, mockups, and draft concepts. Personal use includes private, non-commercial items like birthday invitations, greeting cards, and home projects.
You may also show early previews to a client, as long as nothing is final or delivered as finished work, and any shared output is flattened or non-editable.
This license does not allow any direct or indirect paid work, including client projects, commercial branding, products, websites, apps, or published content. The font may not be shared, redistributed, or modified.
What does “indirect paid work” mean?
Indirect paid work includes any project connected to a business, brand, promotion, or professional activity—even if you’re not paid specifically for the font use. This also applies to your own brand or business, not just client work (for example: your shop, portfolio services, paid socials, ads, or product packaging).
Can I use the font for a personal event, like a birthday party or family celebration?
Yes. Personal use includes private, non-commercial items like birthday invitations, greeting cards, and home projects—as long as nothing is sold or used for promotion.
Can students use the font for school or university projects?
Yes. Educational, non-commercial use—such as class assignments, presentations, and academic portfolios—is allowed under the Personal / Demo License.
Can I use the font for client work if I’m not getting paid?
No. Client work is considered commercial use, even if unpaid, speculative, or done as a favor. Any client-facing project requires a commercial license.
Can I show designs made with the demo font to a client?
Yes, but only as concepts or drafts. Nothing can be delivered as final work. Shared files must be flattened or non-editable.
Can I share the font file with a friend, teammate, printer, or collaborator?
No. You may not share, upload, or distribute the font in any way that allows others to download, extract, or reuse it. Anyone who needs the font must get their own licensed copy.
Can I modify the font or bypass the demo limitations?
No. Modifying the font, altering glyphs, converting it into another font, or bypassing demo/character-set limitations is not allowed.
This Personal / Demo Font License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“Licensee”) and Indieground Design (“Licensor”) governing the use of the font software provided under a Personal / Demo License (“Font Software”).
By downloading, installing, or using the Font Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not download or use the Font Software.
Licensor grants Licensee a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the Font Software for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
The Personal / Demo License is intended solely for testing, evaluation, learning, and private use. The Font Software may include a limited character set and is provided to help Licensee decide whether to purchase a commercial license.
Under this Agreement, Licensee may:

The Font Software is licensed, not sold. Licensor retains all ownership, copyright, and intellectual property rights in and to the Font Software.
Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership of the Font Software or grants Licensee any rights beyond those expressly stated. Licensee may not remove or alter any copyright or trademark notices contained in the Font Software.
This Agreement is effective until terminated. Licensor may terminate this license immediately if Licensee breaches any term of this Agreement.
Upon termination, Licensee must cease all use of the Font Software and delete all copies in their possession or control.
The Font Software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Licensor does not warrant that the Font Software will meet Licensee’s requirements or that its operation will be error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Licensor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Font Software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Licensor’s total liability under this Agreement shall not exceed zero (0), as the Personal / Demo License is provided free of charge.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy.
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Licensor and Licensee regarding the Personal / Demo License and supersedes any prior communications or understandings.
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
